Brainstorming Story Ideas

My teachers decided it was time to brainstorm short story ideas. My team came up with various ideas, but we landed on one. The one we came up with is about a boy who was playing with his stuffed rabbit and teddy bear in the forest. When the boy stopped playing to get something, he noticed that the teddy bear was gone. He decides to figure out what happened and look for his missing teddy bear. When he spots various clues the scene goes into a different style, a detective Noir style to display his imagination taking shape. In his wild imagination, he plays a detective with his stuffed rabbit that comes to life to help him solve the mystery of his missing teddy bear. In the end, the boy figures out that bears took the teddy bear and are playing with him, which is hinted at with the clues. The twist is that the bears were also a part of the boy's imagination, in reality being teddy bears instead of real ones.
I really like this story idea because it's just a silly little story. I wanted people to enjoy the story laugh at the stupid jokes and have their worries wash away. I really enjoyed those films and television shows such as Deadpool where it just jokes with the story being an afterthought and want to reciprocate that.
Below is a beat board of our story described above. (P.S I could only do it on paper; I dont have an iPad)(P.S.S This looks like a four-year-old made it because I rushed it and was burned out)

Below is the logline for the story. We measured the overall tone of the story and the investigations. We marked down some plot points such as when the bear is found and when the bear goes missing to show the differences in the tone. We also marked when the shift to the noir style will be and it will be towards the middle which is when the investigation will begin.

However, an issue arose when my teachers wanted a story with a moral and purpose. I understand why they wanted us to change it; I prefer the other story better. Because my teachers had notes on it we had to readjust the story. The new story has the same concept as the previous but it has a moral like my teachers wanted.
The new story is a detective story about a missing teddy bear and they come alive with the boy's imagination. The changes are with the setting, it's in a police station and the boy's father is manipulating the mystery and the crime scenes. The twist also changes as the father takes the bear and is in peril which the boy has to help the father overcome.

Here is a beatboard of the new story that we came up with. It shows the crucial plot points that I stated earlier except I forgot to mention as you can see, they reconcile at the end and play together with the toys.

Here's a new version of the logline made by one of my teammates, Val. There is a slight difference between the two as they added the boy's energy decreases and increases as the story progresses. There are also differences in the themes, as some increase exponentially more. Fathers' involvement is also added as with this new story he is crucial to the story. It shows his progress, as I admit I have an issue with it, as it should all be constant then have risen. I believe this because
